Terms and Conditions – Origin Five

Booking Deposits

Payment of a booking deposit confirms your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
All deposits and payments made are strictly non-refundable.
Deposits secure staff hire services for your scheduled event.
Final staffing numbers are typically confirmed 72 hours prior to the event.
Staff details are generally provided 24–48 hours before the event.

Payment Methods

Deposits can be paid via direct deposit or credit card.
A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.
Final payment must be received no later than 14 days prior to the event.

Remittance

For direct deposit payments, please email proof of payment to 📧 hello@originfive.com.au to confirm your booking.

Staffing Allocation & Fulfilment

Origin Five operates as an on-demand staffing service.
Staff are allocated and confirmed within the week of your event.
If staff cannot be re-secured due to late notice cancellation, clients will be notified as soon as possible.
In the event of a last-minute cancellation, replacements will be attempted where possible but cannot be guaranteed.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Cancellations

All booking deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will incur a 50% charge of the total booking amount.
Same-day cancellations will be charged at 100% of the booking amount.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is permitted with a minimum of 31 days’ notice.
A $150 rescheduling fee applies (non-refundable and non-transferable).
Rescheduled events must take place within 365 days of the original booking date.

Credits

Credit toward future bookings may be issued at Origin Five’s discretion.
Credits are not applicable to booking deposits.

Performance and Reliability

Origin Five is not liable for unforeseen staff cancellations, late arrivals, or no-shows.
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with staff performance or skill level, as all hires are based on declared experience and availability.
Any concerns must be raised within the first hour of service to allow for appropriate internal review and response.

Extreme Circumstances

Refunds or credits may be considered in exceptional cases (e.g. theft, fire, assault).

Weather or Government Restrictions

Standard cancellation policies apply.
A 50% refund may be considered if a formal cancellation notice is received via email at least one business day before the event, at Origin Five’s discretion.

Refunds & Late Arrivals

Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for deposits or full payments unless staff fail to arrive or are more than 30 minutes late.
Late arrival refunds are calculated in 30-minute increments.

Refund Requests

All refund requests must be submitted within 3 business days following the event.

Early Completion

No refunds will be issued if staff are released earlier than the agreed service end time.

Staff Skillset & Expectations

Matching & Skill Levels

Staff are allocated based on availability and their declared skills.
Origin Five is not responsible for any mismatch between expectations and staff abilities.

Staff Review Policy

Staff who receive two poor performance reviews within a 6-month period will not be rebooked for future jobs.

Service Time Extensions

Time extension requests should be made with at least 2 weeks’ notice.
Same-day extensions incur a 30% surcharge on the hourly rate per staff member.
This fee applies regardless of whether Origin Five is contacted directly or via the staff member.
Payment for time extensions is due within 48 hours of shift completion.

Same-Day Bookings

Same-day staff requests may be accommodated, subject to availability.
Confirmation is only provided once staff have been secured.
Urgency surcharges apply, ranging from $10–$35 per hour depending on the event type and location.

Public Holidays

A minimum 30% surcharge applies to all public holiday bookings.

Parking & Additional Fees

Clients are responsible for any parking fees or fines incurred by staff during the event.

Photography & Media

Consent

By booking with Origin Five, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken at your event for marketing purposes.
You may opt out by notifying us before or during the event.

Ownership

All imagery and video content captured by Origin Five remain the intellectual property of Origin Five.

Media Disputes

Any concerns or disputes regarding media use must be submitted in writing to 📧 hello@originfive.com.au.

Additional Policies

Insurance

Origin Five does not provide public liability insurance for events.
Clients are strongly advised to arrange their own event insurance.

Gender Requests

To uphold fairness and comply with anti-discrimination laws, staff gender preference requests will not be accommodated.

By booking with Origin Five, you agree to receive occasional marketing communications.
